Elfin Cove is located on the Northern part of Chichagof Island, 85 miles west of Juneau, Alaska’s capital city. Once you’ve landed in Juneau and have collected your luggage, a short walk through the airport to the newly remodeled Alaska Seaplanes wing is where you’ll check in for your float plane ride out to Elfin Cove.
The flight from Juneau to Elfin Cove is about 45 minutes long. In that time you’ll have breathtaking scenic views as you fly over Lynn Canal and Icy Strait. On a good weather day, you can catch glimpses of the Fairweather Mountain range, four different glaciers, humpback whales, bears, eagles and more.
Here at Elfin Cove Resort we strive to make your travel experience as simple as possible. To help ensure this, our guest’s round trip float plane ride is included in our trip cost. We even handle the booking! This way, you won’t have to worry about a thing once your flight lands in Juneau.
